New Berlin Bathroom
The homeowner’s primary concern for this bathroom was to renovate it into a warm inviting space that fit their traditional home and lifestyle. The new layout allowed for a large double vanity with a bump out to provide visual interest to the otherwise long vanity top. The bump out provided the space for an above the counter cabinet that was used for additional storage. The area on the north east wall provided a nook for the toilet so that it was visually out of site upon entrance into the master bathroom. The south wall became a large walk in shower to display the beautiful neutral Scavo Almond tiles and the Australia Canberra Stria border. The border was prominently displayed vertically to accentuate the ceiling height and the rich brown tones of the border blend effortlessly with the warm wood tones of the Cherry Russet cabinetry. The angled wall in the shower was utilized as an anchor point for a granite foot ledge for the homeowner to use while shaving. Matching granite corner caddies were chosen to bring the colors of the Juparana Gold Light granite into the shower space. The Onyx white natural stone shower floor was enhanced to bring out the light gold and brown tones in the granite and wall tiles. The neutral tones of this master provided the traditional feel the homeowners wanted. In the end, the large master shower is a nice focal point in this space. The dual vanity with additional storage provides the homeowner with a bathroom that they can be proud of and enjoy over the years.
